This isn’t a dream scene from a far-flung tropical isle; it’s the authentic experience that awaits you on Carnaza Island, a hidden treasure located within the stunning archipelago of Cebu.

The population of this area consists of approximately 1,400 inhabitants who reside in six sub-villages known as sitios. The primary sources of income for the residents are centered around fishing and eco-tourism. The culture of this community is characterized by a strong sense of togetherness, which is evident in their traditional fishing methods, lively festivals, and the welcoming nature of their hospitality.

Carnaza Island a tiny island that resembles a turtle, situated to the north of both Malapascua Island and the mainland of Cebu in the Philippines. This island is included within the boundaries of the Daanbantayan municipality.

The landscape is primarily characterized by coastal flats, mangrove swamps, lagoons, and gentle hills, with a maximum elevation of approximately 55 meters above sea level.
